This is our first visit to the City and one to cherish. We’re overwhelmingly amazed to learn its rich history and Shirley was a great tour guide filling us up on its past. Although I was a bit disappointed not to explore The Jimmy Carter Library and Museum since its closed but was glad to set foot on its grounds.

As a small group of five we drove through many of Atlanta’s residential neighborhoods in a large SUV; lunch stop at Ponce Market and passed by major city sights. The primary reason to select this tour was to visit the Jimmy Carter Library & MLK visitors center, both unfortunately closed because of the government shutdown. So disappointing!

We had such a wonderful experience on this Atlanta tour! Ms. Shelley was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of the city, and she gave us insight into neighborhoods we would not have thought to explore on our own. It was the perfect way to see different sides of Atlanta in just a few hours. Highlights of the day included visiting the MLK National Park, the Jimmy Carter Library, and strolling through Ponce City Market. Each stop offered something unique, and Ms. Shelley made it all come alive with her stories and background knowledge. The five hours went by so quickly—it never felt long or rushed. Overall, it was a fantastic day that gave us a deeper appreciation of Atlanta. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city!
