The tour was even better than we expected. Our tour guide Bob was a big reason for that. Would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to learn more about the area and its history.

Valley of Fire State Park is a land of crimson, Aztec sandstone, ancient rock art and mystery. Venture into Nevada’s first and largest state park with a local Adventure Guide to explore a landscape sculpted by shifting sand dunes 150 million years ago. You’ll ride in the comfort of a luxury Tour Trekker through the Mohave Desert, learning about its geology, ecology and history while en route. Upon entering the Park, giant rock formations, maze-like canyons and animal-shaped peaks transport you to another world. See world-famous sandstone sculptures—Elephant Rock, Seven Sisters and the White Domes—and iconic landscapes from Hollywood films. Wander among the 2000-year-old petroglyphs at Atlatl Rock and visit the 1930s stone cabins built for early travelers. Your tour includes a stop at the Visitor’s Center and you’ll go home with memories that last a lifetime. Bottled water and lunch provided!

Excellent tour and lunch! The pink Jeep tour guy Don was extremely knowledgeable with the tour dynamics and surroundings.

Low intensity, comfortable way to see the Valley of Fire and other beautiful sites within! We made multiple stops, narrated with knowledge and clarity by Brian.

This was my second visit to the state park, the last being 10 years ago. Basically, both tours were similar, only this one was done in reverse order. Our guide, Faythe, was fantastic. While she is relatively new on the job, you wouldn’t know it from her extensive knowledge of the area, as evidenced by her ability to navigate the drive to the park and the Valley of Fire. While this website lists the stopping times at each point along the tour, she considered the extreme heat and just slowed down at some of the planned stops. It was simply too hot to keep getting out of the jeep. When we stopped for lunch, Faythe stopped being the guide and connected with her passengers. It was so great. The only disappointment came when we drove “off-road”. The company’s website indicates that this tour only travels on paved roads. So, it was uncomfortable for everyone when she took the jeep to a gravel, unpaved road. Everyone aboard actually jumped in their seats during this short detour. While the day was great overall, I would be hesitant to join another of this company’s tours because I'm unsure about the reliability of their website.

Our tour guide was John. He was very knowledgeable about the area, was funny and stopped at the points of interests. Thanks!
