Excellent trip! Kate and Liber were a great Captain and Mate. Very accommodating. Very clear with directions, and made the experience as enjoyable as it could be. Rented snorkeling gear and wetsuit were in good condition, as well as the vessel. Only drawback that couldn't be controlled by anyone was the cold snap that happened just before the trip. Air was in the 50's at the beginning; 60's when we ended. Cold. Be sure to bring plenty of dry layers in January. While in the water, it was 70's and very enjoyable with a 3mm short john wetsuit and 2mm long sleeve top. Saw all kinds of fish (Parrotfish, Sgt. Majors, Angelfish, Triggerfish, Wrasses, Tangs, etc.) as wells beautiful fan and acropora corals. Urchins, Conchs, and other invertebrates. Really a great experience.

Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site. We also offer scuba diving on our trips. In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

Our snorkel trip with Captain Brad and Crew in the Florida Keys was nothing short of phenomenal. They made safety a clear priority while keeping the experience relaxed, fun, and welcoming for everyone—whether you’re a first-time snorkeler or very experienced. The snorkelling itself was incredible—crystal-clear water, vibrant coral, and an abundance of tropical fish. What truly set this trip apart was the crew’s enthusiasm and kindness. 🌊🐠

My son and I had an amazing first-time snorkeling experience with Captain John and Nate at Pirate's Cove! The staff were true experts, incredibly kind, and so patient with beginners like us. They guided us to all the best spots and made the whole trip fun and stress-free. We had an unforgettable time—thank you so much for making our day so special!

The crew was great and helpful. We went on an afternoon snorkel tour which was perfect after a long day of traveling to Key Largo plus we were concerned about the morning temperatures since we were visiting in December. The 2 snorkel stops were amazing. The highlight was seeing the Jesus statue. Overall an amazing experience and must do in Key Largo!

Captain Katie and First Mate Liber made our Christmas snorkel trip fun and kept us and the coral safe. We saw Christ of the Abyss, which was an unexpected surprise.
