PADI Open Water Diver Course

I totally enjoyed my dives. Denni was a fabulous instructor. He was extremely patient with us beginners. And nobody drowned.

I had such an amazing time! Ruben was so patient and professional, he took such good care of us. Throughout the process everyone at pocna were so helpful and kind, making sure we had the best experience possible. We can’t wait to use all the skill we learnt in our future dives! My wife and I were fortunate enough to complete our PADI open water dive course with Pocna Dive Center. Our dive instructor Ruben was amazing. He was very patient with us. He is also very firm when ensuring that we understand the importance of safety. The whole staff was lively, smiling, and seemed to legitimately enjoy their work. The underwater museum was great! We got to see some rays, a nurse shark, and some turtles. Other folks on our boat got to see a Hammerhead shark! The whole experience was amazing. We definitely recommend Pocna Dive Center!

I did my Open water certification at this center and could not have chosen a better place! From the beginning the communication to book the course was very easy, I did the online learning before I arrived and when I arrived we jumped right into the water. Ruben is an exceptional instructor, super patient, very clear, at all times made me feel very confident and gave me the confidence to ask the necessary questions or even ask to repeat some exercises in which I felt I needed to reinforce a little more. Then in the dives besides always taking care of the security.. made us have a lot of fun! I think Ruben is an excellent instructor and also has an incredible Capacity (in covers) to make you feel the passion and love for the sea! The rest of the team also amazing, Guille, El Capi, el valedor, Denni, Vanessa... Everyone makes it an unforgettable experience and you’re just thinking about when to come back. With all my heart, thank you very much to the whole team of Pocna!!!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience with this dive center. From the very beginning, booking my course was quick and uncomplicated and the communication was always smooth and friendly. A very special thanks goes to Ruben, who truly made all the difference in my diving journey. He took so much time for me, patiently guiding me through every step. I needed a bit longer with some parts of the training, but Ruben was always kind, encouraging and determined to find a solution that worked for me. He explained everything clearly and showed me more than once when needed. Thanks to his supportive approach, I was able to overcome my initial fears and gain real confidence underwater. In the end, I successfully completed my Scuba Diver certification and was able to fully enjoy the dives, even after some challenges. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor or a more positive experience. I highly recommend this dive school to anyone, especially if you’re looking for a professional, patient, and genuinely caring team that will make you feel safe and excited to dive! 🌊🤿
