Get ready for the Adventure of a Lifetime! Whether you are a first time whale watcher or a seasoned veteran, you will have a blast! Departing from the Victoria Inner Harbor, begin your day with a 3 hour whale watching adventure, guided by our passionate skipper/naturalists. Learn about the marine wildlife that flood the Pacific Northwest from Orca, Humpback, and Minke Whales, to Pacific White Sided Dolphins, Seals, Sea lions and a variety of sea birds from downtown Victoria.

When you return to land, take a 30-45 minute shuttle to the Butchart Gardens, narrated by your driver. Once at the gardens, spend as long as you like smelling the roses, dining in the restaurant (advanced reservations recommended), or stay for the nightly performances from (July 1st – September 2nd),  or Saturday night fireworks throughout July and August with return shuttle schedules accommodating the evening entertainment.

No shuttle reservations required, you are welcome to catch any shuttle you wish that suits your daily activities from both Victoria and the Butchart Gardens.

Additional Information

  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking
  • This vessel is not suitable for anyone with a history of serious medical conditions including but not limited to, back or neck injuries, recent surgery, and/or current or suspected pregnancy.
  • There is a minimum height restriction of 4ft/120cm. This typically applies to children under 7 years old, and minimum weight required is 50 pounds/23 kilos
  • A full body exposure suit will be provided for all passengers and are required to be worn by Transport Canada.
  • Each passenger is required to sign a Release of Liability at check in.  Participants must be 19 years of age, or require a parent or guardian to sign on their behalf
  • Vouchers for shuttle and admission to the gardens to be given on check in for the Zodiac Adventure
