Crystal our guide, and Robert, our captain, were amazing and very knowledgeable about the area and manatees. We even got to see dolphins!

Observe the endangered West Indian Manatee in Crystal River’s idyllic Kings Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Your US Coast Guard licensed captains and guides will take you into the 600 acre spring fed refuge waters for viewing and snorkeling with these slow moving wild giants. All equipment, fees, snacks and beverages are included.

Stop At: River Ventures498 SE Kings Bay Drive, , Crystal River, FloridaEmbark on your journey with a Coast Guard Certified Master Captain who will be your in water chaperon, educator and photographer. Your tour will run four hours from start to finish and everything you will need is included for one price. You will begin at our full-service tour facility, where you will be educated about the animals in a classroom type setting and receive tips for your snorkel tour to make the most of your day. You will be taught the in’s and out’s of ‘passive interaction’ as this ensures that the animals enjoy the experience as much as we do! You will then be suited up and transported to the dock, where a Coast Guard certified covered pontoon will be waiting for you. This rich estuary will amaze…..birds, fish and wildlife abound! Submerge yourself in the manatee’s world! Finish your adventure by viewing your Captain’s photos back at our facility and be sure to visit our one-of-a-kind gift shop! We had captain Mike and Bryan this morning. We had the BEST time! They were wonderful and the universe conspired to give us optimal weather and curious manatees. An experience we’ll never forget!

Our manatee tour with Guide Crystal and Captain Tanner was simply unforgettable! It was the most beautiful experience for both of us and truly a magical encounter with these gentle giants of the sea. Crystal and Tanner made us feel from the very beginning that we were in the best hands. Huge compliments to both of them – we felt so well taken care of the entire time. A heartfelt recommendation!

Recommend all day!! This is our 2nd time with River Ventures over 6 years and they are Amazing 👏. Has a comfortable & family feel to the environment, which makes the experience so much better. Our guide Shawn did a great job bringing us to different spots to see manatees but never felt like with we pushing in on them. Shawn was so helpful with pictures and answering our random questions, lol.
My older son, 23,who has Autism, stayed on the boat and our captain Moe, was great chatting with him and offered him drinks & a snack.
