Our next stop is the California State Railroad Museum. The museum was built by railroad enthusiasts in 1937. The museum contains 21 complete railroad cars, linked to exploitation and death, with the ghosts said to be appeased by something called the Hungry Ghost Festival.

We're actually going to this museum next! The only museum devoted to Sacramento history is the Sacramento History Museum, which debuted in 1985. The museum houses the belongings of May, a young girl who unfortunately perished from encephalitis.
