What a thrill! We had a fantastic guide, Gonzo which I'm sure enhances the experience. It's been my dream to white water raft since I saw a special on PBS about 25 years ago. The Salmon river is beautiful. We saw big horn sheep and a few bald eagles in the picturesque canyon. My husband spotted a bear along the river's edge as we we were leaving. It was a perfect day that exceeded our expectations.
With flows that rival the Colorado River, the Salmon offers some of the best whitewater in the country. Our experienced guides will lead you through a Class I-III stretch of whitewater with numerous rapids. When you aren’t getting splashed, take in the abundant wildlife, deep canyon gorges, and stunning scenery. Join us for the wild journey down the famous “River of No Return.” A healthy riverside lunch will be provided. *Please be sure to let us know if you have any special dietary restrictions.

Our family just had an incredibly fun weekend at Salmon River Adventure Company, and we can't recommend it enough! We spent two nights glamping and enjoyed a full day of rafting. The beds were very comfortable which was a huge plus, but the best part was being welcomed by a genuine family-run positive atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The home-cooked meals were delicious and added a personal touch to our stay. There was never a dull moment with activities like folf, rock climbing, and swimming to keep us entertained. Our 16-year-old daughter and her friend had a blast! One of the most unique and memorable features was the cable car that took us over the river from the parking area to the camp. It was such a cool and fun way to start and end our adventure. The river guides were top-notch. They were knowledgeable, and safe but also added fun making our rafting experience memorable.
Salmon River Adventure Company truly has great family vibes. If you're looking for an adventure that combines fun, camping in comfort, and a welcoming environment, this is the place to go. We'll definitely be back!

We did a three day trip down the river with our family of five. Fantastic time. Guides were superb. Kids had a blast. Good mix of activities and communication beforehand. Highly recommend. Beautiful area and only wish we could have gone for longer!

We were lucky enough to send our 2 kids down the Main Salmon with Salmon River Adventures and they couldn't be more stoked! Easy communication pre trip, super accommodating for our needs and we could not be happier. On the water the kids had an incredible time and LOVED the food.
I operate a rafting company on a nearby river and can attest that these folks know what they are doing, love what they are doing, and are passionate about sharing it with the world.
Everyone needs to do a multi-day rafting or kayaking trip once in their lives, and you should do it with the Hilleke Fam!
