The iconic building covered in art is located behind the George R. Brown Convention Center and close to BBVA Compass Stadium in EaDo (East Downtown). This old industrial building is covered with displays of street art and murals by various artists in the H.
A lot of people come out to take photos at the building and surrounding area and, honestly, there are so many murals that there is room for everyone. Year-round, you'll see family photo sessions, quinceañeras, and just a bunch of cool people taking some even cooler pictures.

This 750,000-square-foot arena is home to the Houston Rockets of the NBA.
Construction began in July 2001 and in September 2003, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to mark the official opening of the arena. The total cost to build this modern marvel was $235 million.
The arena's first event was a Fleetwood Mac concert on October 6, 2003, and the first Rockets game at the Toyota Center was against the Denver Nuggets on October 30.

The biggest mural in Houston is an ode to preservation and conservation. The world-famous muralist Sebastien Boileau was commissioned to create a piece of work that emphasizes the importance of transitional neighborhoods. Boileau’s work is inspired by Michelangelo’s “The Creation of Adam,” and its looming nature towers over the constantly developing city.

The Houston Police Department museum is located in the lobby of HPD headquarters downtown and features unique displays and a memorial wall honoring the ultimate sacrifice made by those officers that gave their lives in the line of duty.

Included among the displays are artifacts from the Honor Guard, SWAT, Mounted Patrol, badges, uniforms, and other equipment utilized over the years.

Discovery Green is a 12-acre park located in downtown Houston, complete with tree-shaded walks leading to a tranquil pond, while grassy slopes offer postcard views of downtown.
Prominent features visitors can enjoy include a one-acre lake, children’s playground, interactive water features, amphitheater stage and slope, small and large dog runs, public art works, HPL (Houston Public Library) Express, open lawns, and great restaurants.

Minute Maid Park, is a retractable roof baseball park in Downtown, which opened in 2000 as the home stadium of the Houston Astros. The ballpark is Houston's first retractable-roofed stadium and features a natural grass playing field. The ballpark was built as a replacement for the Astrodome, the first domed sports stadium ever built, which opened in 1965. As of 2016, Minute Maid Park has a seating capacity of 41,168, which includes 5,197 club seats and 63 luxury suites.
