Hands down worth every penny. 3 hour experience includes 1 hour of snorkeling, light snack and drink, shoreline water tour of lava caves! You get to see the monument from the water. When you enter by boat you can’t go on land. Learned to snorkel with ease and comfort and spent an hour in the water with all the beautiful fish and coral! Beautiful day! Amazing captain and first mate! Lucky enough to experience an orca and her baby close up! Boat ride is fast and fun in a Kodiak! Don’t recommend if you have a bad back or neck but if you love speed and water, so, fun! Would absolutely do it again!

With the world-renowned and historic destination of Kealakekua Bay just minutes from our point of departure, the Captain Cook Exclusive is a personal, exciting, and efficient way to see the Bay named one of the world’s best snorkeling locations. Your Captain maneuvers our custom-made vessels into the sea caves at the base of Hualalai, hugging the coast and detailing the culturally significant and geologically fascinating features along the way. We had an amazing outing with Kevin , our captain. There were only 6 of us making it a more personal experience. Before we got to our snorkeling spot we were so lucky to see whales (mom & baby) breaching and frolicking in the waters around us. Kevin continually maneuvered the boat for the best viewing while being non-intrusive. The snorkeling was awesome with lots of fish and coral easily seen. The tour finished with views of lava tubes and beautiful rock formations. Fresh fruit, drinks and snacks were provided. Don’t book a tour with anyone else but SeaQuest!!!

Great experience for the beginner and intermediate snorkelers! Great guides, great to be on a boat on the coast. Saw dolphins, turtles, humpback whale and tons of fish. Worth the cost for happy family and many thank yous for the family planner.

The Captain of this ship made the trip very memorable and fun. Natalie is fantastic at her job, and as professional as they come. Really appreciated the historical commentary.
