I would highly recommend this activity. We learned lot about San Antonio. What a treat?

Your tour begins with your guide greeting you at the front entrance of the Alamo, your first stop. Walk among legends as you enjoy a guided tour that leads you through the courtyard revealing the story of the 1836 Battle of the Alamo. You will then take in the world-renowned 15-mile urban waterway on a relaxing, 35-minute River Walk Cruise to immerse yourself with the city’s culture, history, and architecture. You will then head to the Historic La Villita District to take in its vibrant culture. You will also get the chance to cross Love Lock Bridge, where the tradition is for visitors to attach padlocks to the railings as a symbol of their love and commitment. Your next stop is the San Fernando Cathedral, which has been a cherished landmark for over 300 years. As the oldest continuously operating religious community in Texas. Your tour will come to an end when you arrive at your thrilling last stop. Take an elevator ride up 190 m (623 ft) to the top of Tower of the Americas.

It's a lot of walking and stairs so probably not great for younger kids. Bring water and a snack. Overall, great way to see a number of the hot spots while taking in a history lesson.

We met Nancy in San Antonio for our tour and it was an excellent experience that gave us a lot of knowledge as well as confidence to further explore the Riverwalk and wider San Antonio area. Nancy had great knowledge of the history and sights of San Antonio. She communicated well and was fun to spend the tour with. We definitely recommend this tour for a fun way to get to explore San Antonio and see some sights that you would not find on your own. Thanks again Nancy

Sasha was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. She took the time to answer our questions and explained things very well.

We were notified through WhatsApp , which I don’t use, at 10:44 am on Saturday January 17 for a 1:00 pm walking tour & river cruise that the river had been drained for cleaning and the cruise was not available. They wanted to “upgrade” us to a driving tour, we booked a walking tour, at no additional charge. We were in transit at this point and unable to make an educated choice. I was finally contacted by phone by our local tour guide. She, Sasha, was very understanding of my concerns and did the very best she could to make our tour as enjoyable as possible for all four of us. We were offered a tour of the Japanese Tea Garden to replace the river cruise. As it happens the Tea Garden was closed for a wedding and not close enough for a “walking” tour anyway. As I said Sasha did her very best to give us what we were expecting and had paid for which we appreciated. I can’t imagine that on the morning of the 17th the City of San Antonio suddenly closed the riverwalk section of the river and drained it nor do I believe the Tea Garden was just rented that morning for a wedding. The tour company was not on top of things and scrambled at the last minute to correct their shortcomings. We were given a small refund, $61.99 against our payment of $556.00. Not what I was expecting. We have used Viator to book tours in Paris, Vancouver, Florence & Milan with great success. They and their tour company fell down on this one.
