This was amazing! My husband and I drove the road to Hana on our own. The guided tour was not only great at describing everything and telling us all about the history, it was perfectly timed location wise and was helpful along the drive as there was no service for the majority of it and we could not access the maps apps. Make sure you download it before you leave on the day of your trip. We also loved the music and the historical stories on the long ride back to Kīhei. Highly recommend this guided audio tour!

Embark on Maui’s most iconic coastal adventure with this self-guided driving audio tour. Journey along the legendary Hana Highway, winding through lush rainforests, past cascading waterfalls, black and white sand beaches, and dramatic ocean cliffs, all while listening to immersive stories that bring the island’s history and culture to life. Enjoy total flexibility: start anytime, pause for hikes, swim in natural pools, or stop for fresh banana bread along the way. With offline GPS navigation, insider tips, and lifetime access, you can explore both famous sights and hidden gems without crowded buses or tight schedules. Highlights include Twin Falls, Waiʻanapanapa Black Sand Beach, Hana Town, O‘he‘o Gulch (Seven Sacred Pools), and countless scenic lookouts along this breathtaking route. I don’t usually give reviews, but this tour deserves it! It is a simple download that gives great info to entertain during the drive and provides very helpful suggestions and directions for the “must sees”. Totally worth the money and easy to use!

This GPS-guided tour was recommended by a local sandwich shop where we picked up food to bring on the road to Hana. I'm so glad we decided to download this tour! It narrated our drive, taught us a lot along the way, and kept us entertained. It was also nice to have a heads-up on upcoming stops that we otherwise would not have known about. Highly recommend.
