The experience is well worth your time. It shows you a different face of New Orleans away from the French Quarter and everything creole and cajun. The food is a variety of new and old and our guide Kaffey was exceptional. She knew the history of NO, the food styles and was fun and engaging.

On our 3-hour Lower Garden District Walking Food Tour, you will savor foods from 5 uniquely different restaurants, mom-and-pop shops, and bakeries. We will tease your taste buds as you nosh on foods from award-winning food establishments. The Lower Garden District food tour gets you out of The Quarter and into a neighborhood the locals live and eat in. We savor foods like Korean BBQ, the best Jewish Deli Sandwich in NOLA, authentic Mexican tacos, a bologna sandwich from a restaurant named by Bon Appetit as the "Best New Restaurant in America," and artisanal doughnuts. In addition to all the delectable foods, your guide will tell fun and interesting stories about the history, culture and food scene of the neighborhood. Join us on an eating adventure!

Kaffey was our guide and was full of facts about the lower garden district and was a bundle of fun energy. She was personable , accommodating, and engaging! The places we visited were favorites of the locals and each place was filled with people eating there. Food was yummy ! Our party of 6 really enjoyed it!!

Our guide was fun and informative. He kept the tour moving along at an even pace and allowed the group time to get to know each other as we ate ourselves silly!

Very delicious and fun tour! Kaffey did an amazing job and help accommodate our family. Everything was great to try, the standout was definitely the chocolate house!
