Charlie, our guide was so nice! My horse Honey was so sweet. It was a nice change of pace from the Vegas strip. It was extremely relaxing and the view was beautiful! Thank you!!

Escape the HEAT!! During the Summer months Enjoy the Mountains on Horseback in Cool Weather!! In the Summer Months this is the best ride in Vegas! When it’s 115 degrees out at all the “other trail sites” we are a high of only 75 degrees. The riding trails at our Riding Stables provide you with views of deep forest to panoramic mountain overlooks including peaks. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you on a beautiful adventure over trails of western beauty where you may see deer, wild horses and donkeys. With a wide variety of horses, we can match everyone from the beginner ( never been on a horse) to the experienced rider to a suitable horse that fits you best. Adults and children alike enjoy the various animals that call the stables home. We do not ride near cliffs or any dangerous trails. During the winter (Nov 1- May 1) this tour is relocated to the Lake Mead location. The tour has red rock formations, desert atmosphere with green bushes. See a real inactive Volcano!

Departure Point

  • We have two locations: Mount Charleston and desert site. If too hot you’ll go to the cool mountain tour. If mountain weather is poor, you’ll go to the desert spot. Text to confirm booking and get directions. Nov 1-May 1 , we operate at Rainbow Gardens, not Sawmill

The only positive aspect of this experience was that the horses appeared to be well cared for, which was reassuring to see. Unfortunately, beyond that, there is little else I can say positively. The tour guide was constantly on her phone and seemed preoccupied with a work-related issue, which created a tense atmosphere and took away from the overall experience. The ride itself was quite short and there wasn’t much to see along the way, making it feel underwhelming and not worth the cost. I would not recommend this tour.

Excellent. The ride was relaxing and offered nice views. Guide Kim was great. The horses were very good and my horse Oreo was easy. Meeting point was close to las vegas strip (25) minutes.

Such a fun and peaceful family experience! The horses were amazing and so was our guide Charlie, who had cool facts about the beautiful scenery! Thank you for a great experience!

These people really run this business with their heart and soul. The ride was about 40 min from where I stayed. If you book with a party pickup is possible to be arranged I believe. It costed me about $40-50 to get there from where I was staying on the strip and their driver even offered to take me back to my hotel if I couldn’t get a Lyft. Once I arrived, I could see all the beautiful horses and landscape. I was greeted with my breakfast which consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage, a hash-brown, and a bottle of orange juice. After everybody arrived, everybody was matched with their proper horses according to their height and weight and we took off on a slow yet steady ride through the mountains of Nevada. Their horses are also truly some of the calmest I’ve seen by the way and my horse was huge lol. However, the ride was beautiful and the operator even offered me a bottle of water afterwards. This was something I did on a whim but I’d definitely recommend this as something to do with your family or your significant other if you get a chance to while you are in Vegas.
