Trish was friendly, warm, and funny when she picked us up on time at our hotel for the Oak Alley Plantation tour. As she picked up other passengers and drove the 1-hour long trip, she pointed out iconic landmarks and best restaurants. Trish made us feel safe as she drove the tour bus over bridges and country roads, while avoiding alligators (wink). She gave us clear instructions of where to meet the Plantation Tour guide, and even waited patiently when we realized we left something behind at the Cafe at Oak Alley. Trish is the best!

Come take a journey back in time and see Louisiana's beautiful plantations.  Over the years, these plantations inspired many people to write books, screenplays and feature them in movies.  We pick up at all hotels in the Uptown, Downtown and French Quarter areas. If you are staying outside of this area, call to set up a pick up location. Seating is limited so reserve your tour.

We received email and text confirmation that the tour was to take place. Even day of tour we got a text verifying the reservation. We waited outside our hotel at 8am. at 8:45 we called to see why we have not been picked up. We were told that the day before the tour operator called in sick and that they could not find anyone else to do the tour, so the tour was cancelled. NO CALL, NO TEXT, NO EMAIL. They claim they left a voicemail, but I never recieved it. AND if it was cancelled why no Text and no email if they confirmed it that way the exact day. We were really ticked off, we had planned the day around that tour. I requested a call back from the owner, was told he would call me and he hung up. OWNER NEVER CALLED. This tour place is clearly a scam.

The tour was Amazing, Bob our driver was the best! He was on time and gave us a whole lesson about each question that we had about the city, religion war and culture in general. The Oak Alley Plantation is incredible. Very recommended tour!

We had a good time at Oak Alley, our shuttle driver was a lot of fun on the way there and back (even joked with us because we were told white bus and hers was black so we were highly confused 😂). The tour itself was good, the guide gave a lot of information but it was a little disappointing we couldn't take pictures inside of the plantation. They said its because of the safety of us and the antiques, but ive been to other plantations personally that still allowed and museums that it was just no flash photography. So understandable its their rules, but disappointing nonetheless. Definitely stop into the gift shop and try some of their jams, we took home three jars after trying them! I think if we book this way again, we will go to the Laura instead.
