Writing this 4 days after the 'tour' so I had time to get perspective. Here are few of the areas of disappointment: 1. The confirmation included the wrong address for the starting point 2. The starting point was texted to me about 15 minutes before the start time 3. Josh spent 15-20 minutes looking for the other party of 2. He dashed away from us with next to no explanation 3 times. There we were on segways with no direction. 4. We started at the 30 minute mark – the tour is promoted as a 2-hour tour. We got about a 80-90 minute ride with 30 minutes of ‘training’. Expectations were not met by actual activity. 5. KEY PONT: Josh was a surprise – he seemed not to have passion for the city or the job. I’ve taken Segway tours in towns from Nashville to Reykjavik and walking tours literally around the world. The enthusiasm of the guides for their hometown was infectious. Josh seemed to be punching the clock and had his phone out non-stop nearly the entire duration. 6. My friends are Denver locals and told me more about the city than the guide. Maybe he was following the script. That script needs to be updated, if so. I reached out to the vendor via text and email with no reply. Maybe this will trigger one. I encourage you to read the review of recorder of Pineville, MO in Jul 2024 - I've been on a dozen other segway tours and agree with their comments in addition to mine above. It seems the other people on our tour - Don review of Oct. 2024 got a reply that we were ok with a 30 minute late start... we were not. WARNING: If you go on this tour anyway, watch out during the checkout process - it automatically adds an 18% tip. I would tip ONLY AFTER receiving the service and tip accordingly.
