It was not just an informative chocolate tour, our host also told us stories about Seattle. Keep in mind though that it requires a long walk of around an hour and half with intermittent sitting at cafes and sweet shops. Overall very good experience

Chocolate is a technology 5,300 years in the making. It is currently going through metamorphosis unlike anything it has undergone before. This tour celebrates chocolate in all its forms; join us to enjoy something unexpected alongside your all-time favorites. We visit bakeries, chocolatiers and specialty shops, tasting flavor and styles from across the globe. But why Seattle? Cacao does not grow in Washington, nor do we have our own distinct style like that in Belgium or Ecuador. What Seattle offers is a culture that honors tradition while striving for innovation. We value the integrity of ingredients and supply chains, but we see no ‘rules’ in how something should be done. We break the mold of what people think chocolate is and of what it can be. You are living in the Golden Age of Chocolate.

What a treat it was to experience this walking tour as a family. Our guides were informative, engaging, and adapted the experience well for our kids. I loved the way our tour guide Will explained how we sometimes connect flavors with experiences we’ve had & use many creative analogies to describe the differences we taste. We made some bold new choices & practiced letting the flavors develop. Highly recommend!

It was just the 2 of us and Ivy, our guide. She was great! Gave us a lot of history of chocolate, Seattle, Pike's Place and the vendors we visited. We had cookies, donuts, hot chocolate and Fran's world famous chocolate to name a few.

Ivy was lovely. She gave us some of the history of the shops that we visited and gave us great recommendations for gifts to bring home to my daughters. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

Ivy was fantastic! A very knowledgeable connoisseur of the cacao plant! Not all places on the itinerary may be visited, but every one is a treat! Cookies, hot chocolates, gelato, donuts, tart, & tiny chocolates of course! Seven places and 9 items. If you love chocolate, this is your tour!
