The tour includes a stop off at a viewing point for the Golden Gate Bridge. You then visit 2 wineries before the lunch stop in Sonoma. There is a further winery visit after lunch. Each of the wineries had a different vibe, all were small scale operations and all were passionate about their product. Plenty of wine was poured - particularly at the second winery! Sonoma was well worth a visit. We were recommended a really good Mexican restaurant for lunch, I would recommend leaving yourselves enough time for a wander around the square though, it has a real old town ‘Back to the Future’ vibe. A good trip to see the scenery further afield from San Francisco.

Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and explore California’s top wineries on a luxurious full-day tour. Visit famous wineries in Napa & Sonoma, enjoy tastings, a delicious lunch, and free time in Sonoma Square Plaza (if you choose this option). Discover Castello di Amorosa & Artesa Winery, savor premium wines with charcuterie & chocolates, and explore downtown Napa (if you choose this option). Along the way, enjoy scenic views of Napa Wine Country as you cross the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. It’s the ultimate wine country experience!

Great day trip! Guided tour from San Francisco to Sonoma and information on the history of wine country. Visited 3 wineries with a stop in Sonoma for lunch on our own. Relaxed, not rushed. Small group.

Great experience. Driver was good and knowledgeable but sometimes hard to hear because of the sound system. The vehicle needs repair.

The Napa and Sonoma Wine Country day tour from San Francisco, organized by Gray Line, is exactly what it promises: an intense, well-paced and very... international day. On the bus there really was the world: an Indian, a Chinese, an Australian, a Mexican, a Neapolitan (and others). A little G7 of wine, united by the same hope: drink a lot without having to worry about driving. The organization is correct and timely. Times respected, guide available even if a little repetitive, clear explanations. The wineries visited (Roche, Madonna, Cohn) are well chosen for a wide audience, panoramic even if perhaps a little too touristy, but consistent with an “entry level” tour. The downside is the wine whose quality does not excel. More than a wine experience, it was a panoramic tour, useful to get a general idea of Napa and Sonoma, less to really fall in love with the cru. In summary: comfortable, organized, multicultural and no surprises tour. Perfect if you only have one day and want to see “a little bit of everything”, less if you are looking for the soul of wine. What do we take home Roberta?: “It seemed like the beginning of a joke... and instead it was the bus. The wine passed quickly, but we tasted all the nationalities.”
