Interesting and informative tour of downtown Taos. Our guide, Sam was knowledgeable and had interesting insights along the way.

Sam is not the best tour guide. He tells mainly anecdotal infirmation, plugs certain businesses on the square, is easily distracted, loses track of people on the tour when crossing streets (and we were only four altogether) starts the tour before businesses open and says, "They'll be here after lunch." His voice is very low and he doesn't speak up when there is noise nearby. His aidiovisual aids are mostly his own drawings, which he plugs on the tour as well. My least favorite Vistor experience to date. I did better walking around myself afterwards and talking to shop owners and artists. Taos is the bomb. This tour was overpriced and underwhelming.

This was a great whirlwind jaunt around the center of Taos. Sam was our guide, whom we quickly decided should be the mayor. He knew people! He took us around, shared some local stories and lore, and also shared how to learn more (by the recommendations of local restaurants, museums, and galleries). We enjoyed it!
