I thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Kate. The weather was mostly dry with a little rain. We visited the Seaside Doner Kebab, got our food and went into the quay to eat, next we went to the soup place, Pier 7, a honey shop, a beer place up in an alley, ice cream and a donut place further up Lonsdale. It was a really enjoyable time. The group we were with were very friendly. The only negative comment would be our tour gal Kate needs to get her facts updated a bit. The barges in the harbour are actually ocean going freighters and Seaspan doesn't do just repairs, they are building our newest Coast Guard cutters, ice breakers and Navy ships.

We met Katie our tour guide at the predetermined location. After a brief introduction we boarded the sea taxi and cruised over to North Shore. We enjoyed six tastings. Katie’s narration was interesting and informative. The food and drink offerings satisfied our group’s varying palates. You are served very generous portions at each establishment. At the conclusion of the tour, we were able to further explore North Vancouver at our own pace.
