The excursion had a little bit of everything. It was great to see it all in one afternoon. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic half-day tour to the foothills outside of Denver! You will enjoy exploring the majesty of Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater and the geological wonders of the area. Stroll the historic main street of Golden and enjoy shopping, local breweries, or a scenic walk along the Clear Creek Trail. Then you will Travel up 2000 feet (610m) on the Lariat Trail Scenic and Historic Byway to the top of Lookout Mountain while viewing a breathtaking panorama. Visit the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave (admission included). Tour is limited to a maximum of 12 travelers.

My friends and I had a pleasant experience on this tour led by Anne. She is full of interesting factoids on not just the history of landmarks and pioneers of the area but of its geology. She is a Denver native so it made the experience feel personable and genuine. She was also very skilled at driving the tour bus while educating us about her home town making us feel safe as tourists. Another thing I appreciated about her was how she gave recommendations and tidbits on ways to explore the areas we visited if we were to visit again. I will definitely return in the future and book this tour again with my kids.
