A great experience. Very knowledgeable guides. Answered all our questions. Was a little cloudy but still got see moon and Jupiter. So interesting.

Discover the wonders of the night sky with our award-winning star-gazing tour package! Start your tour in the Planetarium Dome Theatre and explore local First Nations constellations, the Milky Way, and even the edge of the universe! After leaving the planetarium, head outside for a guided tour of the Rockies' largest, most powerful telescopes. If the sky is clear, you can look through the telescopes and learn about the science behind the Northern Lights and even get your hands on meteorites, a Moon rock, and a Mars rock! Enjoy a live, interactive experience with 4K “instant replays” of past views if it's too cloudy. Please dress appropriately for the weather! This 1.5-hour experience is open to ages 4 and up, and children under 4 who are not permitted in the Planetarium Dome Theatre. If you don't see the stars due to cloudy skies, you can always return with our two-year "Rain Check" at no additional charge! Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to explore the night sky!

Very informative tour about the stars, planets, and the universe. Unfortunately, because of the cloudy conditions, I didn’t see much of the skies nor the Northern Lights. Did a bit of stargazing. Staff were very friendly and kind.

All members were very informative and you could tell they had a passion for astrology and the wonders of the universe. We had a bit of a cloudy night but they still managed to catch some stars for us and gave us a rain check for a better night.

Honestly this was such a cool experience! The whole experience was incredibly interesting. The dome was such a great way to visually move through our universe and understand it in its magnitude. Although there was cloud cover and we weren’t able to use the telescope the presentations on the Auroras, meteors, and the telescope photo presentation from Jake and Casey was still worth it. Will be returning to use the telescope!

A fantastic experience at the Jasper Planetarium tonight - eye-opening and informative - loved the power of storytelling and the knowledge and enthusiasm of the staff, especially Jake. Unfortunately, the clouds didn’t clear for star gazing and dancing auroras, but we still left with a feeling of awe and wonder. Thank you! 🙏
