Our objective was to get out of Waikiki and see what Oahu looks like outside of Honolulu. This reasonably-priced tour ($80/each) fulfilled our objective very nicely. The Ford transit 350 "buseta" held our eight passengers and assorted gear nicely. Be aware that a full load of fourteen tourists might strain the vehicle's capacity for accompanying camera bags, beach bags, large purses, etc. Our guide, Justin, was a native who was very knowledgeable and informative about the island's history, politics and current issues. We hit the "high spots" for scenic photo ops, a few "tourist trap" souvenir-shopping opportunities, and an extended stop to either shop or swim in Hali'ewa on the North Shore. Lunch was a choice of shrimp dishes (or chicken) at a local landmark, still a tradition despite the shrimp no longer bring raised net to the restaurant. The small group size and informal feel were both comfortable and entertaining. We recommend this tour.

What sets us apart is our commitment to creating a personable experience. We keep our tour groups small, ensuring that you receive personalized attention and have ample opportunities to ask questions, share stories, and connect with fellow travelers. We want you to feel like a cherished guest, not just a face in the crowd. A Tour Tailored Just for You At The Pineapple EXP, we believe in quality over quantity. Our tour groups are kept small so you can enjoy personalized attention throughout your journey. Ask questions, share your travel stories, and connect with fellow adventurers as you explore Oahu’s rich culture and natural beauty. We might not claim to be the biggest, but we work harder to ensure that every guest feels like family.
