We did the horseback riding tour up in the mountains to reach beautiful Lake Sonoma, and it was an amazing experience! The host was very friendly and personable, and we even enjoyed a glass of wine after the ride while chatting with the owner. Having only been horseback riding a few times, I was a bit anxious about going up the hills, but the horses were incredibly well trained and steady, which made the ride feel safe and enjoyable. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

On a personal level, this was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done! Nikki was an incredible host and guide - she taught us so much about how to ride, our horses and the area. It was just breathtaking and so enjoyable! I can’t wait to come back!

We did the 1 1/2 hour ride. Beautiful trail and views of the lake. The horses are well cared for which is my main concern. Our guide was experienced and professional.

This was a nice ride with some awesome views. Mourgroup was small which was excellent. Nikki was very friendly and made the ride relaxing - asking questions and telling some of the history of her ranch. She gave reminders throughout the ride for those who may not have been on a horse in a while. We could have ridden longer looking at the beautiful views. We were a couple of friends and would have liked to have ridden closer together but understand there may be a need to have horses in a certain order for safety reasons. Overall we had a wonderful time!
