We were a party of 7 adults, ranging from 18 years old to 50 years old, men & women, all different styles, budgets and a few in our group were visiting from Greece for the week.
I wanted to pick a tour that would be different than the usual NYC tour BUT would still interest and apply to the entire group.
This was absolutely perfect! Everyone in our group made very happy purchases and every shop we visited, we bought from!
Mecca was our guide. What a blessing she is! We met her at our designated meeting point, she introduced herself and gave us a little history about her background, the tour, asked what styles and things each of us liked, and went over the basics of how the tour would work.
We were in the city for 4 days and this was probably the 1 activity EVERYONE absolutely loved. Mecca explained where we'd go, the type of items that would be in each shop, time allowed for each stop and that she'd give us a "times almost up warning" to keep us on track. She gave us time for bathroom breaks and snack breaks, and tailored the shops to our overall interests.
She knew so much about each stop, knew when to negotiate and if things were a good buy or not.
Her style is awesome, so it was very helpful to have her honest opinion when we were all trying on clothes and / or accessories. Even the guys were all smiles!
She made a point to chat with each of us to get to know our personalities and styles a little better and was always within shouting distance if we needed help.
We purchased things from hockey pucks, to designer bags, sports jerseys, all kinds of designer clothes and so much more.
You don't need to be a " shopper" or into clothes to enjoy this tour... Mecca will find the places that suit your interests and take you there.
This was WELL worth the money and I don't think we could have had a better experience or tour guide!

Mecca was an amazing guide! Abe was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in picking out pieces we liked. She knew everything about the stores and she kept the tour moving efficiently and smoothly! 10/10 highly recommend this tour for all the thrifters! We did this tour for my son’s 18th birthday and it was his favorite part of our entire New York trip!!
