Create a Custom Perfume or Cologne in Charleston, SC: Mix & Match

My husband, a friend, and I learned of this unusual opportunity for something different to do while in Charleston, and we were not disappointed. We arrived for our scheduled appointment early and were greeted and started our adventure sooner than expected, which was great. Our instructor gave us a foundation and offered every possible tip to creating our own fragrances from 3 base scents out of 10 options, and trying different combinations from an alphabetical “organ” of about 300 secondary scents. Once we tried our magic 3 combos on each wrist and one on the back of the right hand, we were advised to freely go outside for nose/scent clearing, and decide which one was “the one” for each of us (although we each ended up with 2 of our distinctive scents because they were our personal creations!), then added distilled water and alcohol, and poured our concoctions into 55 ml bottles, for which they made individual labels for each with our chosen product names. We were treated to champagne and received certificates for completing the class. This was a fun and unusual experience and we now have scents to remember that experience. Put this at the top of your to do list when in Charleston!
