Awesome trip and our tour guide John made it that much better. I did notice other tours providing snow shoes which would have been a nice addition even if the fee is increased but nonetheless we still got over 10k steps while enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery. Would highly recommend!!

This was a phenomenal tour where everything went exactly according to plan. As someone who appreciates genuine experiences and expects services to deliver precisely what they promise, this trip to Mount Rainier exceeded my high standards. It was the antithesis of over-hyped and under-delivered. For the detail-oriented traveler, here are the highlights: 1. Impeccable Timing and Comfort: The guide was absolutely impeccable with time, eliminating any stress about delays. The transportation was comfortable and, crucially for a cold December tour, the heater was on the entire time. The travel itself is a good portion of the day (about an 2.5 hours or so each way) which was perfect for relaxing, napping, or downloading shows to watch, allowing for a great sense of presence when we arrived. 2. Ideal Group Size and Space: The tour felt incredibly spacious and comfortable. The group was small (around 20 people in a vehicle with a max capacity of 22), preventing any feeling of crowding. My family sat in the back row, and we had plenty of room to spread out. This tour is perfect for anyone; solo travelers, couples, or small groups. We even saw another party who had booked an entire bus for just their family. 3. Exceptional Insight and Preparation: The guide was genuinely knowledgeable, providing deep insight into the ecosystem, nature, and local economy. We encountered heavy rain and flooding, but the guide's preparedness was outstanding. He was constantly checking conditions via radio, keeping us fully informed and ensuring our safety and continuity of the tour. 4. Thoughtful Value: The guide was transparent about food costs near the mountain and proactively stopped at a grocery store, allowing everyone to purchase better, more varied snacks at a reasonable price point. This commitment to guest comfort and budget speaks volumes. This tour was seamless, professional, and delivered incredible value for the price point. The entire operation was run correctly, and the expertise provided by the guide made this a perfect, stress-free day trip. Highly recommended.

2+ hour drive from Seattle. Didn’t get to see much because of weather. Most of park closed. Tour was well organized and guide very helpful.
