The Haunted Toronto Scavenger Hunt is a fun, outdoor scavenger hunt around the University of Toronto and Queen’s Park area, where players learn about Toronto’s ghostly past and spooky present, all while solving tricky questions.

What are you signing up for?
A fast-paced scavenger hunt that unfolds over 2 hours, where players are in teams of 2 to 6 people. Who you come with is who you play with. The city becomes your playground as you solve the clues, find the traces of ghostly legends, discover public art, and uncover the past all around you. This activity is equally challenging for locals as it is for visitors.

Participants split into teams of 2 to 6 and are given hunt materials: clue book, map, and an answer sheet. Teams spread out over a set route and seek out locations, finding an answer at each. Some of the questions take the form of riddles, while others have you seeking out public art and historical plaques, or examining the outsides of buildings for the answers. The team with the most correct answers at the end, wins. The Haunted Toronto scavenger hunt takes place entirely outdoors.

The hunt takes a total of 2.5 hours, with some additional time beforehand for waiver-signing and instructions and afterwards for tallying the scores. Please make sure to wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
