We played tourist in our own town and this was a great way to do it. The guide was great and we learned lots of fun facts. I wish they would come up with more!
Do you have what it takes to figure out who killed Jimmy Capello, how, and why? He was poisoned, strangled AND stabbed... popular guy! You will be met by a real person in character as a detective who will send you on your murder investigation and give you everything you need to play. Work your way through Gastown in teams of 2 to 6 players, picking up clues and solving puzzles along the way. You'll see historic places, public art, architecture and other attractions. This outdoor escape room mystery game is *real* fun - there is no app to download, no wifi or devices required. You'll be too busy exploring Gastown in downtown Vancouver to look at your phone (but don't forget to take photos)! Can you earn a top score and your place on our website and Instagram page? This was so much fun for our family of teens. We rushed around Gastown looking for clues. It was a nice way to break up the “regular” site seeing. We solved the murder!

We believe this mystery murder game has the potential to be an excellent activity to acquaint players with the interesting history and sights of the city of Vancouver; however, we found the game clues to be confusing and quite time consuming. We believe the game requires much more than 2 hours to complete for participants to realize the benefit the game seeks to provide for city visitors. It is obvious a lot of time and creative thought were put into developing this game concept; we would encourage the game developers to simplify and refine the game and continue to make it available as a fun, exciting way to explore the city of Vancouver. We will play this game again, if our future journeys bring us back to Vancouver.
