Nice walking tour that provides some history. I like that it isn't too long and helps you get oriented to the Old Wharf area.

On this smartphone-guided adventure, you'll see Portland’s historic streets and discover its stories. Go at your own pace, anytime. The tour never expires. The tour is professionally produced with pro narration and music. It's location-aware walking step by step through the city. You’ll see the cobblestones streets, wharf street, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s home, stops on the underground railroad, city hall, exchange street, the lobster square, historic buildings, and the best spots to eat, including the best donut shop ever. Really, it’s that good. You'll hear the stories of Portland, Anna Kendrick’s favorite hangs, Longfellow’s history, stories of lighthouses, adventure, prohibition, bootleggers, the underground railroad, Japanese mailboxes, the revolution, colonial times, and much more.

This was definitely a cool experience. We saw things we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. There were a couple times we had to backtrack. I don’t know if we got ahead, or way directions were worded we got confused. Either way we enjoyed our time doing this.

If you are off track, it want let you know. We walked for 2 miles and realized we were off track. It just played classical music, which was good, but not informative enough to let us know to turn back. Needless to say we did not finish since we had to get back to the ship. It was leaving.

Had a short time and wanted to know about the city we were visiting. Such a great way to learn about the history of Portland, Me.

This was a nice alternative to the guided tours. Allowed you to go at your own pace. Audio was clear and quite informative for the history and buildings of Portland. Recommend if guided tours are booked up. Only challenge - you have to download a second APP to start the tour. This was in the directions but just not super clear. Works on both Apple and Android.
