This was such a fun tour and we fit so much of Salem into the day. The guide was helpful and we loved making our own brooms. There was free time to shop after the tour and class and the guide had many suggestions.

Go beyond the ghost stories on this immersive Salem day trip from Boston. Led by a licensed local historian, you’ll uncover the real events of 1692 as you explore the town’s most iconic landmarks. On a guided walking tour, you'll learn how fear and misinformation fueled one of the darkest chapters in American history—then enjoy a creative twist. You’ll visit a beloved local spell shop before rolling up your sleeves in a private broom-making workshop at a woman-owned studio. With a handmade broom to take home and flexible train tickets for easy travel, this tour blends deep historical insight with just the right amount of hands-on magic.
