I was preparing myself to be disappointed when it poured down rain for hours the morning of our tour, especially when I received a call from the co-owner Alli advising us the other people on our tour canceled and she was wanting to give us options of picking a different tour or we could continue with just my husband and I as a private VIP group!! That decision was a no brainer! I let her know we were from Oklahoma and being our first time in Massachusetts we were unfamiliar with the train system getting from Boston to Salem for the tour. She had the other owner David (who was giving the tour) know and he actually came to the train station and met us there to begin our tour! He was very knowledgeable of the Salem history and accommodating to our special needs. He offered to take pictures of us at the different sites. We went the week before Halloween and it was packed at all the sites, David took us ahead of several other tour groups along the way like true VIPs! We ended our walking tour at the entrance of Turner Seafood and met Alli there who took us ahead of the line to do a quick tour inside one of the most haunted restaurants in the country (it was even featured on an episode of Ghost Adventures!) After taking us upstairs and showing us around we were taken to our VIP table and ordered the most scrumptious meal all included with our tour price!! Everything was just fantastic! We had the best time, ate the best food and made some lifetime memories! I know there are a lot of tours offered in Salem and it's hard to know which to pick, but I would highly recommend Wickedly Awesome tours! If we ever come back Massachusetts again we will definitely sign up with them again!!

Points of Interest

Stop At: The Custom House
178 Derby St, Salem, Massachusetts
At the Custom House, we'll explore Salem's pivotal role in early American maritime trade during its Golden Age, when daring merchants and privateers transformed the port into one of the richest in the nation. We’ll also discuss Nathaniel Hawthorne’s time working here, his connection to the ship Friendship, and how Salem’s bustling harbor inspired tales of pirates, smugglers, and sea-bound adventure.

Stop At: Salem Witch Trials Memorial
24 Liberty St, Off Charter Street, Salem, Massachusetts
At the Witch Trials Memorial, we’ll honor the 20 innocent lives lost in 1692, with a special focus on Bridget Bishop, the first to be accused and executed. Her memorial bench stands as a powerful reminder of fear-driven injustice—and many visitors report a strange stillness or energy near her name.
