I took this tour in 2019 when it was actually as described. This last Sunday was a faint echo of my previous experience. It's a pleasant outing, but not edifying in any way. I'm not sure whether our host was a sommelier. She was friendly and made sure we all got back on the bus, but she never discussed the wines or the vineyards. She was also apparently unaware that there were several groups of friends who had been told they would be seated together. This resulted in an unpleasant scrambling at the first stop, though she smoothed the way at the second. Not hearing about the vineyards or wines from her would have been fine if we'd gotten the information at the venues. The people at our first stop didn't even both to wait for everyone to get seated before they barreled through a very short presentation. Other aspects were also oversold. The artisanal lunch was pizza at the first stop. There was no food at all at the second stop. I bought two bottles of wine at the second stop. I did not receive a discount despite showing them my tour bracelet. More miscommunication? A change in policy? If you don't have a car or just don't want to drink and drive, this is as good a way as any to spend a day in the beautiful Hudson Valley. The views are still gorgeous and the time at each stop is enough to explore. But this is no longer the Crush experience I was expecting and not one I would recommend to my friends. I can't imagine going to a festival organized by this version of the company, must less touring Europe 😱

This was a very interesting and fun trip. I learned quite a lot about the types of grapes that used to make wine. Both vineyards were nice. The Pellegrino vineyard was my favorite because we allowed to see where they process the wine and the storage containers.

I would definitely recommend this tour. I give RGNY a 10. The winery and grounds were beautiful. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The wines in the tasting were all good. We ordered the guacamole which was excellent. Pellegrini’s tasting room was overcrowded and lacked any atmosphere. The lunch was delivered late, but our sommelier, Tim, worked very hard to get everyone served in a timely manner. The server’s explanation of the wines included in the tasting was unenthusiastic. The vineyard was wine crushing while we were there and our sommelier, Tim, provided an informative explanation of the process. Stopping at the farm was an added treat. The blueberry pie was delicious.

First winery with gf. A bit tiring but great experience and the market was the best part. 4 different wines, 2 locations, and lunch. Easy round trip tasting. Nice sommelier& driver.
