Boat captains must master nautical lexicon before sailing the seas to ensure that they can distinguish port, which means left, from starboard, which means launch the vessel into deep space. Count down to a sea launch with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

 • $27 for two tickets to a 90-minute sunset cruise aboard the Viking Princess (a $54 value)
 • $49 for four tickets to a 90-minute sunset cruise aboard the Viking Princess (a $108 value)

Guests delight eyes with the setting sun’s cardinal colors and the flight of seabirds returning to roost on a gentle cruise past coastal lighthouses, including Long Point, and the harbor’s vessel-stocked anchorage. Knowledgeable guides lend their expertise on the area when requested, allowing sea travelers time to practice lobster mating calls while dining on complimentary hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. Each cruise’s precise route is dependant on wind, temperature, and requests from passengers to view select sites.

Viking Princess Cruises

Sailing daily from MacMillan Wharf and stretching 39 feet lengthwise and 16 feet abeam, the Coast Guard–approved Viking Princess accommodates up to 42 passengers and two crewpersons per cruise. Several different cruise formats introduce water wanderers to coastal views of varying sites, such as Cape Cod’s prime real estate, well-known lighthouses, and hidden Provincetown gems. The Princess also embarks on festive holiday-themed voyages, such as Fourth of July or Tax Day cruises. Cape Cod Life's 2010 Gold winner for Best Kids' Activity, the Critter Cruise invites wee ones to pull up lobster pots and bottom dredges from the waters and safely inspect and handle the findings— such as blue fish, sea turtles, or humpback whales—alongside an expert naturalist. The Princess is wide enough to facilitate groups dancing to the sounds of the ship’s overhead stereo or to the tunes of local musicians during live-music cruises.

Customer Reviews

It was a small boat but there was enough seats for everyone although a bit snug for my party of 8. The cruise and sunset was very enjoyable. I'd reccomend it and do it again with more friends.
