Located inside a converted Bridge Street row house, Villa Vito has been serving up classic Italian food made from family recipes for four decades. The exhaustive menu opens with classic appetizers—lemon-spritzed artichokes, antipasto for two—before stretching into a selection of hearty italian entrees. The house specialty Mangia platter offers bites of chicken, eggplant, meatballs, sausage, and three kinds of pasta. Other favorites include stuffed shells and homemade gnocchi. All pasta dishes are served with bread and butter, and, like all court summonses issued in Italy, meat entrees all come with a side of spaghetti or ziti. Guests can also build their own specialty pizzas from a wide array of toppings including pork, ricotta, and roasted peppers, or choose a cocktail from the fully stocked bar.
