- C$69 for a fresh-juice winemaking experience (C$139 value)
The experience requires two visits, separated by six to eight weeks. (During that time, Vin Bon’s winemakers oversee the fermentation process.)
On their first visit, customers choose a West Coast red or white grape juice, pour their selection into a 20-litre container, and hand it off to the pros. On their second visit, patrons pick up the finished wine, which fills up approximately 24 to 26 bottles. Customers label and seal their handiwork with complimentary labels, corks, and shrink caps.
The bottles themselves are not included in this deal. Customers may bring their own or purchase them at an additional cost of $1 each.
The winemakers at Vin Bon, using juices from international harvests, invite customers into the winemaking process, helping them craft their own vintages without the time-consuming steps of squeezing, straining, and background-checking their own grapes. After helping guests select their juice, the winemakers monitor and blend ingredients in each batch on its journey through fermentation and filtration. In addition to their winemaking services, Vin Bon sources premium juices and grapes, such as cabernet sauvignon and riesling.
