What You'll Get
Dessert comes at the end of meals so diners will be too full to ask for seconds, leaving chefs with all the extra icing, cherries, and miniature blowtorches they can eat. Get your fill first with today’s Groupon: for $19, you get mixed drinks and dessert for two at VINeleven (a $44 value), located inside the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel and Spa. Guests can choose two of the following desserts:
- Ricotta cheesecake
- Warm chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream
- Warm apple-and-dried-cherry crisp with Madagascar-vanilla ice cream
- Banana bread pudding with rum crème anglaise
- Pumpkin crème brûlée
Guests can also choose two of the following mixed drinks:
* Fig sidecar
* Rye Mash
* Mandarin Wild Flower
VINeleven, helmed by decorated head chef Brian Whitmer, floods taste buds with sips of fresh and innovative libations and bites of decadent desserts, all made from fresh and local ingredients. Drown out smack-talking uvulas with a chalice of Rye Mash—an amalgamation of Bulleit rye whiskey, homemade simple syrup, fresh mint leaves, and lemon angostura bitters—or the Mandarin Wild Flower concoction, which mingles mandarin vodka and lemongrass with simple syrup and local wildflower honey. Camel-colored chairs and earth-toned walls surround VINeleven’s circular bar, where mixologists create fig-infused cognac and simple-syrup grand marnier in house, before spritzing them with fresh-squeezed lemon juice in the fig sidecar. Mandibles join the action for dessert, where helpings of velvety pumpkin crème brûlée tickle tongues and warm chocolate cake rests beneath pistachio ice cream flanked by Keebler elf bodyguards. Ricotta cheesecake rises from the milk of Bellwether Farms to wear a crown of fresh strawberries, and banana bread pudding sumptuously merges with rum crème anglaise.
