Vinotopia at Forest Park
It's hard to tell what should get top billing at Vinotopia: the locally sourced, organic farm-to-table cuisine or the massive wine list from which it gets its name. The latter features nearly 200 red, white, and sparkling wines, the majority of which boast a rating of 90 or higher from the likes of Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, or Robert Parker; a large handful have been rated 95 or higher. You can enjoy all of these by the bottle, and some by the glass, with the upscale cuisine. Hormone-free, grass-fed Painted Hills meats take center stage on the menu, which offers gourmet burgers, juicy ribeye steak, 48-hour fresh seafood, and a wild-mushroom tart with ricotta-thyme filling. All of this—the wine and the food—is served in a romantic dining room inspired by Hollywood's golden age or in the glow of the expansive patio's outdoor fireplace.
