Reception area is beautiful. Products are on display (nice); receptionist (very professional). Added a facial to my LED treatment which I was looking forward to. Esthetician was 15 min. late with no apologies. I let that go. The facial was very basic and not the least bit relaxing. The clatter of the product bottles/plastic was annoying; in/out of the spa room to get product; noise from breakroom.

Really wonderful facial and the handmade products are amazing. I know they are fresh from their intoxicating aroma that just can’t be replicated. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The LED treatment was interesting and seems to have made a difference in my skin. I absolutely recommend!

Milena was great!!! It was my first time there and she made me feel so comfortable! Clean space and super cheap parking behind the building it’s located in! I will definitely be going back and recommending my friends go there too!!

I had a great experience here. Beautiful and relaxing spa. Great wax service by Milena, and was less painful because of the non-strip wax used. Front desk staff was polite and helpful. Did not try to upsell me at all. Will definitely go back.

About Violet Skin Boutique

Violet Skin Boutique has been the go-to spot for Boston complexions since 2004, but its story actually starts about 30 years prior with world-renowned master facialist and skincare expert, Violet Mkhitaryan. Violet Skin Boutique has been locally selling its skincare products to a devoted client base in Boston since opening its first organic spa over a decade ago. The company's bestsellers include the Violet yolk mask known as the instant skin lift. Violet facials are deep cleansing treatments that include manual exfoliation with gentle and thorough extractions leaving no pore left untouched. The advanced Violet Signature facial massage is customized to your skin and is polished off with a relaxing massage.

Violet’s modern approach to improving the skin’s appearance is to combine live properties from foods, oils, and herbs-using no preservatives or chemicals. She meticulously selects the freshest ingredients to maximize the effectiveness. She cracked open old books to mine eastern European recipes for inspiration, and when she wasn't whisking oils and herbs into face-rejuvenating salves, she was running spas. Over the following decades, Violet helmed spas in Armenia and Moscow, all while earning degrees in aesthetics and biochemistry, and finally staked her claim in Boston.

Violet's products have appeared not only on customers' faces but in numerous press outlets, including the pages of Martha Stewart's Whole Living and the Improper Bostonian, which called her line the city's best local beauty products. She makes her lauded serums surrounded by glass jugs, dried flower petals, and everything nice in a lab that the Boston Globe described as resembling a pastry chef's kitchen and she beautifies her clients with facials and body treatments celebrated by Every Day with Rachel Ray.
