About Virginia Coast Eco Tours
Virginia Coast Ecotours' guides, a father-son duo, each bring their own set of skills to their ecotours. Tim Krawczel, an ACA certified kayak instructor, trained naturalist, and US Coast Guard licensed boat captain spent 30 years exploring remote locales while working for the US military as a special operations officer. When he retired, he headed to Virginia's eastern shore, which he's been exploring since 2005. He's the perfect person to take tour groups into the habitats of porpoises and shore birds. Tim's son Frankie, on the other hand, is a great partner for those who want to learn how to fish. He's an expert in fly fishing, and was a guide in Montana and Alaska for several seasons. Virginia Coast Ecotours also offers motorboat tours of nearby marshes and bays.
