What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

Our Sacred Rides feature lots of local culture and flavor - we start with great mountain biking then layer on lots of interaction with locals and local experiences to give you a better appreciation for the area you're visiting. All of our Rides are guided by friendly, knowledgeable and highly-trained local guides. Secret trails, out-of-the-way swimming holes, the best restaurant in town... they know it all!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

A unique philosophy is behind the new program being offered by leading mountain bike adventure company Sacred Rides. With their new Getaways program, the company is equipping passionate mountain bikers around the world like myself with the tools, training and support they need to guide other mountain bikers on their local trails via 1 and 2-day adventures.

What do you love most about your job?

What I love most about my job is I that I get to do what I am passionate about all day long--riding on trails outside and I get to stay fit and healthy doing it. And I also get to meet passionate mountain bikers from all around the world and show them our awesome trails in Virginia.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

The best reaction was from a road rider from Australia who came to one of our evening trail rides and said it was one of the most exhilarating rides she had even done. I loved listening to her giggling in the woods as she challenged herself on a new adventure!
