Paintball is a lot like chess in that both require complex strategizing and both are almost impossible to win against autonomous robots. Today's Groupon levels the playing field with human opponents: for $20, you get a four-hour pass, 400 paintballs, all-day CO2/air, and all other necessary equipment at Virtual Assault Paintball Games (a $41 value). This deal is only valid for redemption at Virtual Assault's Mission Avenue location on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
Sprint, duck, dodge, and dance across Virtual Assault's nearly 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor fields for a four-hour paintball adventure ($24.99), with all-day air, all-day CO2, and a complete set of paintball equipment included. Nervous newbies and skilled sharpshooters alike can exorcise colorful demons in Virtual Assault's climate-controlled comfort, trigger-fingerpainting frenemies and enemends in a spray of pigmented pellets. After exhausting your included cache of 400 paintballs ($16 value), lead-fingered guests can purchase additional paintballs by rounds of 100, 500, or 2,000. Guests cannot bring their own paint. Safety and fashionable headgear are of the utmost priority at Virtual Assaults—as such, facemasks are required to be worn at all times.
Paintball is a high-octane sport that uses rapid firing markers (paintballspeak for "guns") to launch non-toxic balls of paint (paintballspeak for "paint") at unsuspecting adversaries. Paintballs can pummel skin, so wearing a couple of layers can protect you from awkward questions from fellow office workers. Call ahead to schedule a reservation, and take out primal aggression toward our anti-paint society with Virtual Assault.
Participants must be at least 10 years old. All participants must sign a waiver.
