About Vitality Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine
Bauer Coslick, a licensed and board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist, has some rumors to dispel. He doesn’t wear flowing robes, and his office isn’t located on the top of a remote mountain under a Bodhi tree. He’s just a native Savannahian who discovered acupuncture when it helped him recover from a skiing accident, and his clinic is similar to a relaxed and comfortable doctor’s office, with soothing music and ambient lighting to promote tranquility. There, Coslick offers holistic health services and, if possible, reduces the number of supplements his patients takes by identifying unnecessary overlaps, negative side effects, and pill-reminder boxes filled with Smarties.
Coslick’s services have proved to be effective for several patients, including a woman diagnosed with fibromyalgia and thyroid disease. After unsuccessful results from traditional medicine, the woman came to Coslick. He designed a regimen of “acupuncture, some herbal remedies, and [nutrition plans],” Coslick remembers. “Now, she’s lost more weight than any of her coworkers that are doing Weight Watchers, and she’s got more energy. She doesn’t have any body pain anymore. It’s really pretty amazing.”
