About Q&A with Wade Souza, Owner and Trainer at Wade Souza's Fit Club
Exercise is challenging, and people frequently give up on their fitness routines. How do you keep clients motivated?
Our clients stay motivated by a variety of factors—the bonds and community we've created, the unique challenges I create, the best workout playlists, and the endless variety of exercises. We also motivate clients with races and socials outside of Fit Club, gifts and celebration for attendance milestones, special themed Fit Club workouts—Halloween, Summer Olympics, March Madness—and certainly the results they achieve! Every person at Fit Club is not just a face in the crowd. They are known, encouraged, and praised every step of the way.
Do you believe in the maxim, "No pain, no gain”? Why or why not?
I believe getting out of your comfort zone is an essential ingredient to success in fitness. The amount of energy and effort each individual invests will contribute to their results. Overcoming adversity, together, in our workouts creates pride, camaraderie, and enthusiasm within our Fit Club family.
What is the biggest mistake you see people make when trying to get fit on their own?
I think people lean on their own understanding far too often for trying to get fit. Oftentimes, enlisting the help of someone whose career is dedicated to fitness can greatly increase the results you can achieve and be much more enjoyable!
