Aloha! I read that this groupon isn't valid until the 10/7/2012. Are we allowed to do reservation before the given date? If bought, we're planning to go on the 8th, since my friend's flight leaves that week and really wanted to experience scuba diving. Mahalo!

Esther V.  asked on  Sep 28, 2012

Aloha Esther, You can reserve for after the 7th, by emailing nick@waikikidiving.com put the day you would like to go in the subject and in the message put your names, whether you are certified or not, and the 8 digit groupon bar code number in the message.

Q:

What's the difference between a beginner dive and advanced dive? I.e. how is the experience different? And about how long do you spend under the water on each dive, is it based on time or how much air the diver has left? Thanks!

lindsay  asked on  Sep 28, 2012

A:

Our advanced dive is for current certified divers only and it goes deep to 100ft+ sometimes. Our beginner dive is welcome to anyone who is healthy and doesn't exceed 40ft. The dives range from 20-45 minutes each and we dive as a group with our instructor as the leader.

Q:

I don't have a certification. Your website said that the beginning dives are perfect for those without a certification. I understand I have to sign the waiver, but is this the same dive that is included with the Groupon deal (ex. if I don't have a certification, can I use the $50 groupon). Can I pick from any of the dives that say they are good for beginners on your website, or is the $50 Groupon a specific dive? Thanks.

Melissa N.  asked on  Sep 28, 2012

A:

Aloha Melissa, we choose the dive sites depending on conditions each day, but yes you are more than welcome to join us!

Val A.  asked on  Sep 28, 2012
