- $150 for a two-night stay in the Sunshine Lodge for 2-4 people ($250 value)
All options include a 25% discount at The Majestic Golf Course. Tent campers and RV owners can enjoy Waldenwoods’ well-equipped campsites, while cottage and lodge stays provide a little extra comfort. Everyone can enjoy the campgrounds’ basketball courts, playgrounds, kayaks, and beach area. A free historical tour and presentation is recommended to familiarize guests with the resort.
Waldenwoods, like the famous Walden Pond, provides a perfect place to escape society, relax in solitude, and finally finish reading the novelizations of all those TV shows you never watched. Lake Walden—a 140-acre spring-fed lake—sits at the center of the property, and from there, Waldenwoods ripples out across Hartland. While the woods and grasslands surround visitors in nature, that doesn't mean there aren't any amenities. Its properties include a retirement center, stores for shopping, and a 27-hole championship golf course.
Year-round camping is also a major draw here, as evidenced by the 320 grassy campsites that speckle the land. Each one features electric and water hookups, and grants visitors access to a multitude of activities. These include hiking and biking, fishing, and various sports, plus ice-skating and sledding in the winter. Waldenwoods members have even more perks: they can camp for free no matter the season, and they can leave their RV parked onsite during winter months instead of digging a gigantic hole for it to hibernate in.
