Q:

Would we be able to push a stroller while taking this tour or is the route not accessible?

Erin P.  asked on  Sep 19, 2012

A:

Hi Erin
I'm very sorry that we were unable to get to your question! Since this Groupon is only available for purchase until midnight tonight, I suggest contacting the merchant directly at (843) 737-2119. Thanks for your interest!

Q:

If I purchase this, can I choose either the pirate OR the ghost tour? Mostly interested in the ghost tour. Thanks!

Laura W.  asked on  Sep 19, 2012

A:

Thanks for your interest!

The Pirate and Haunted History Tours come as a package. If you do not wish to go on the Pirate tour, you of course are not required to. Hope that helps!

Q:

How similar is this to Bulldog Tours' Ghost & Dungeon Walking Tour? I've done that, and I don't want to duplicate it.

Ernest L.  asked on  Sep 18, 2012

A:

Our tours are authentic and detailed. I have not been on Bulldog Tours "Ghost & Dungeon Tour" but I have heard mixed reviews, some outstanding and some not so much. I believe the quality of the tour depends on your guide and the source of your stories. Geordie Buxton gives over 90% of the Pirate & Haunted History tours, and Ed Macy is available as well when he is not teaching college English classes or ghost walking on his own. We are the two local authors of the books, Haunted Charleston and Haunted Harbor, and the only guides who will be giving these tours. Hope this helps!

Q:

I want to get this for early March 2013, but the dates show as not available. Is that because you just haven't made the schedule that far out, or do you plan to take most of that month off?

Ernest L.  asked on  Sep 18, 2012

A:

Yes, we have a full tour schedule available in March. The only month of a limited schedule is January where we typically only run tours 3-4 days a week because it is so cold. However, March will have the full schedule similar to the one now. If you have a particular date in mind, e-mail it to us and we can notify you in return with a confirmation.

What are the hours?

Teresa P.  asked on  Sep 18, 2012

We do not have set office hours, but our tour times are listed on the calendars online at www.walksinhistory.com .

Q:

If you buy the 4 ticket package can you use two on one date and the other two on a different date?

AJArena  asked on  Sep 18, 2012

A:

No. Why? Because the deal is discounted 54% if all of the four tickets are used on one tour. You only pay $3 more to have the convenience of using two on two different tours . . . however, we admire your money-saving strategy on this!

Q:

What time do the tours begin...

Thomas M.  asked on  Sep 18, 2012

A:

The full schedules of all of our tours are on our website www.walksinhistory.com. There is also an online submission form once you have chosen the tour time of your choice.
