Q:

You responded to a question that the standard fee for lower eyelid surgery is $3500. Please, if you will, provide a cost for the lower eye procedure if done at the same time in conjunction with the $1299 Groupon procedure. Thanks

Q:

When I read the description for blephoraplasty - it mentions that sometimes some laser resurfacing is done around the lower eye. Does this strictly only include the upper eyelid type of surgery that removes fat and tightens the droopiness? nothing more? Just wondering if the surgery would do anything to improve the appearance of the entire eye area ie crows feet. Thank you.

laura a.  asked on  Sep 18, 2012

A:

Laser resurfacing is a separate procedure. The groupon is strictly for the upper eyelid skin and fatty tissue removal.

Q:

Can this surgery be an "anchor" incisional crease surgery? if so I will buy it right now

Vera H.  asked on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

Could you send us a photo of your eyes so we can better address your question?

Rondi W.  from  Merchant  replied on  Sep 18, 2012

A:

I sent the photos to info@walkerplasticsurgery.com, is that correct?

Vera H.  from  Self  replied on  Sep 19, 2012

Q:

However, do you offer some type of oral/light sedation as well to relax the patient which allows this surgery still to be done in office - is this included in this price? If not, how much extra is it? I know general anesthesia is not included. Also, do you use any thing to protect the eyes during this procedure?

Kally d.  asked on  Sep 18, 2012

A:

Patients are able to take some oral medication for relaxation as well as pain management prior to the surgery. The cost of the prescriptions being filled are additional and the cost depends on your insurance plan. Care is always taken to protect the eyes during surgery.

Q:

I have heavy (hooded?) eyelids that I would like to have reduced. Does this procedure correct this condition?

Lisa Elizabeth K.  asked on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

Yes that is exactly what this procedure corrects.

Q:

I have just one eyelid that droops from the eyebrow. A surgeon gave me an estimate for lifting the lid by tightening the muscle over the one eyebrow. Does this groupon work for something like that?

Karen G.  asked on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

No unfortunately this groupon is only for eyelid surgery not ptosis repair.

Q:

I recently had a consult for this surgery and the dr. included "twilight" anaesthesia for $500 in the estimate. P lus I have to do a lot of blood work within 30 days of the surgery. This blood work will be out of pocket unless I can coordinate it with my yearly physical (Jan.). Can you tell me if your offer is similar and, if so, how long the offer is valid? One year? Thanks.

janet m.  asked on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

All of our procedures are performed under local anesthesia only.

Rondi W.  from  Merchant  replied on  Sep 17, 2012

Q:

Where is the upper eyelid surgery performed? What is the addional charge?

Sandra S.  asked on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

The surgery is performed here at Walker Plastic Surgery. If you are only having the Upper eyelid surgery, there are no additional fees.

Q:

Can I do a consulting first instead of buying from here? Does it include eye bags removal? Jenn 202-630-9133

jinhua z.  asked on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

You can schedule a consultation. There is a consult fee of $150.00 which can then be applied to the surgical fee. This is the fee for only upper eyelid surgery. The fees for lower eyelid surgery are additional.
