$14 for a Pottery Painting Session for Two ($28 Value)

This session covers the studio fee for paint glaze and firing (an $8 value per person) and pottery (one piece up to a $6 value per person). Artists select from items such as round, square, or heart-shaped tiles, small animal figurines, and holiday ornaments, or can upgrade to more expensive pottery pieces for an additional fee. After making their choice, painters will learn about the design center and the various tools available to them, then grab hold of brushes, dip them into provided paints, and decorate their piece in whatever designs spring from their imaginations. Once finished, artists hand pottery over to a Walls Of Clay staff member, who glazes pieces and fires them in the kiln or with the help of the dragon next door. Finished works of art can be picked up a few days later.

Walls Of Clay

The thousands of unpainted pottery pieces that line Walls Of Clay’s walls, including plates, bowls, mugs, and holiday items, are each blank canvases for painters’ creative designs. Pottery in shapes like plates, heart-shaped tiles, and animal figurines wait for the studio's provided brushes and paints to bring them to life. Once decorated, the pottery pieces spend time in the studio’s kiln, where under the watchful eye of Walls Of Clay staffers, their paint jobs become permanent, like a dishwasher-safe tattoo.
