Disney's wild new adventure The Jungle Book swings onto the screen to give you a fresh, live-action take on the adventures of Mowgli, Baloo and the rest of the animal crew. Newcomer Neel Sethi plays a man-cub who's been raised by a mother wolf (voiced by Lupita Nyong'o) and calls free-spirited bear Baloo (voiced by Bill Murray) and mentor Bagheera (Ben Kingsley) his closest friends. Together, they face off against sinister python Kaa (Scarlett Johansson), shady orangutan King Louie (Christopher Walken) and the biggest threat of all, the fearsome tiger Shere Khan (Idris Elba). This epic journey into the jungle was directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man), based on Rudyard Kipling's timeless stories and inspired by Disney's 1967 animated classic. Photorealistic CGI animals and environments give The Jungle Book its enchanting and lush feel. Nowhere else but L.A.'s El Capitan Theatre can you experience it in Dolby Vision 3-D laser projection. Plus, The Side Street Strutters Jazz Band, as seen at Disneyland, performs classic Sherman Brothers music live on stage before every screening of the movie.
This film is rated PG for some sequences of scary action and peril.
Running time is one hour and 36 minutes.
